Oh god it's been a long time since i posted last....and i apologize for that....Today was the last day of school before winter break...and i'm happy to say that AP English no longer owns my soul......i got a 90% for the semester...so meh it's decent. I've taken up crocheting....it's almost like knitting for those of you who don't know....so if you need/want a scarf let me know, it'll take me about 3 days to make. Anyways, only 18 weeks of school till graduation......not 18 weeks total, just 18 weeks of school.....and i can't wait. Soo.......things are generally ok......I got Megan the coolest christmas gift, now all i have to do is find a time when she's home and i'm available so i can give it to her....

AP English owns my soul......I am doing several things at this very moment, other than blogging of course. Let's make a list! OOO fun! I am 1) Writing my research paper on the topic of "Woman's Self-Discovery in Zora Neale Hurston's works Seraph on the Suwanee and Their Eyes Were Watching God"....so if anyone has any insights on that topic....i'm open to suggestions... 2) Talking online with a number of people.....instead of writing my research paper! 3) Listening to New Found Glory "My friend's over you", Puddle of Mudd "She F--- hates me" (p.s. did you know that dashes are the correct way to take the place of a vulgarity....at least according to the MLA) and some wacky Russian techno remix of the "Love Story" theme....all three in a constant loop. 4)Trying to scratch the one spot on my back that i can't reach and of course it inevitably needs scratching and there is no one around to help me out.....so i'm using a BIC pen...i bet i look really odd.
Props to my man Will Anderson......good man....i owe him my first born for helping me on my paper. Props? Who am I? Damn...it MUST be late if i'm using language like that....I sincerely hope that none of that language has seeped its way into my research paper. I can see it now.....Ms. Welsh will be reading it.....already tearing it apart.....and then she comes to the word "props" in my paper.....and she'll just burst into a ball of flames......what a shame.
Anyways...kiddies....my eyes are so bloodshot i look like i've been partaking in illegal activity for about three hours now.....so i will be leaving you all...
My advice for the evening is this: When they say 8-10 pages.....they mean 8 full pages.....

turkey in the mornin....turkey in the evenin...turkey at supper time.......when it's the week after Thanksgiving....you gotta eat turkey all the time.....
I've eaten turkey for 3 meals in the past 2 days. And i'm getting sick of it. So.....my advice to everyone is.....you should gorge yourself next thanksgiving..so that you don't have to eat turkey for the week after...

discovered an interesting new snack......Parmesan and Garlic Cheez-its........they're not too bad, but i'm not quite sure about them.......go out and try them for yourself......
